Holyoke is a planned industrial city, located in Western Massachusetts. Holyoke has roots in the paper industry; the city was once filled with paper mills! Today there are large retail malls, historic structures and state parks. Holyoke also has a few residential districts located on the outskirts. Many just decide to look for Springfield, MA house rentals which is near the city, and they commute daily to Holyoke for work. Holyoke hosts many festive parades in the city, and has several scenic mountains within city limits. This area is home of Mackenzie Stadium, a museum, and an array of hiking trails which residents enjoy immensely.
